An inclusive, regenerative Europe where every region has access to bioeconomy education and lifelong learning.

Values

Openness, sustainability, equity and scientific rigour guide every BIOSPARK activity and partnership.

Why Europe needs this

The skills gap is the bioeconomy's biggest bottleneck

Europe has set ambitious targets for circularity, climate neutrality and sustainable resource use. Achieving them requires a workforce — and a society — that understands bio-based systems and can put them into practice across sectors.

BIOSPARK addresses this gap by connecting universities, research institutions, industry and innovation agencies into a single, interoperable European learning fabric.

Inclusive

Open to every audience, from school students to senior professionals.

Regenerative

Built around circular, nature-positive principles.

Co-created

Designed with the people who will teach and learn from it.

Impact-driven

Measured against tangible outcomes for regions and learners.
